SPORTS: Port Angeles beats a spunky Port Townsend team in girls basketball Tuesday night

PORT TOWNSEND — The Class 1A Port Townsend Redskins gave the 2A Port Angeles Roughriders a run for their money in their makeup Olympic League contest Monday night.

The Riders rallied in the fourth quarter to win 41-28.

“I thought the Port Townsend kids played very, very well,” Port Angeles coach Michael Poindexter said.

“They played off their great win over Olympic. I thought they outplayed us for most of the game.”
