PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles girls did well in the distance events at an Olympic 2A League meet Thursday with Kingston, Olympic and Coupeville, dominating the 800-, 1,600- and 3,200-meter events.

Roughrider Gracie Long had a hand in four first-place finishes in the Thursday meet. Individually, she won the 800- and 3,200-meter runs and the high jump. Kynzie Deleon finished second in both the 800 and 1,600, while Dougherty got third in the 800 and Hiigel third in the 1,600. Butler came in second in the 3,200.

Delaney Wenzl of Port Angeles also won another distance event, the 300-meter hurdles.
