STORM KING SOCCER: Avalanche girls finish second at Founders Cup

TUKWILA — The Storm King FC Avalanche Girls 2010 team finished second in the Washington Youth Soccer 2021 Founders Cup held over multiple weekends with the semifinals and finals at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, the Avalanche advanced to the Sunday finals with a 3-2 victory over Mercer Island FC. After a hard-fought final match versus Southlake Select, with Southlake winning 1-0, the Avalanche placed second overall in the Founders Cup 2021.
