Sports: Port Angeles wins league baseball title

PORT ANGELES — With two outs and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday, Nate Gossard handed Port Angeles High School the Narrows League Bridge Division baseball title.

Gossard singled to score Evan Wheeler from third base, capping a quick and decisive two-out rally against Gig Harbor.

The Roughriders (13-1 in league, 16-1 overall) dropped the Tides 5-4.
