Sports: Peninsula College names soccer coach

PORT ANGELES — Andrew Chapman of Spokane is the new Peninsula College men’s head soccer coach.

Chapman is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in physical education/coaching and is scheduled to complete his masters in pedagogy/coaching and sport administration in August.

He has served as a player/coach for the Eastern Washington men’s soccer club team and assistant coach for the NCAA Division I Eagles’ varsity women’s team.

Ten teams from around the state and 30 Port Angeles High School alumni competed last week at the Rumble on the Ridge adult basketball tournament.
