Sequim sports: Brabant takes second in two state track events

PASCO — Sequim High School track star James Brabant took second place in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 300 hurdles to lead the Wolves at the 3A state track and field meet held at Edgar Brown Stadium this weekend.

Brabant, a junior, ran the 110 final in 14.80 seconds and the 300 final in 38.83. His time of 38.52 in the 300 preliminaries set a new school record.

In addition, Brabant finished 14th in the triple jump with a mark of 42 feet, 8 inches.
