NEAH BAY — Multiple players from the two-time Class 1B state champion Neah Bay Red Devils were voted to the All-Northwest Football League team, along with players from Clallam Bay and Crescent.
Neah Bay senior standout John Reamer earned first team honors at both receiver and defensive end.
The Red Devils’ leading rusher, Cole Svec, picked up a first-team nod at running back and was a second-team pick as a defensive back.
Neah Bay dominated the first-team defense with linebacker Josh Monette, defensive lineman Roland Gagnon, defensive end Elisha Winck and defensive back Cameron Buzzell joining Reamer.
Buzzell also made the second team as a receiver/tight end.
Jarickson Kanichy, a senior offensive lineman for the Red Devils, also received a first-team selection.
Neah Bay’s Kenrick Doherty Jr. was selected as a second-team defensive lineman and freshman teammate Daniel Kilmer earned a second-team selection at offensive line.
Earning honorable mention for the Red Devils were freshman quarterback Rhewabura Munyagi Jr., senior running back Chris Martinez and sophomore linebacker Tommy Tyler.
Clallam Bay senior Casey Randall was named to the second team for his special teams exploits and defensively at linebacker. He also received honorable mention at quarterback.
Randall’s teammate Kelly Gregory, also a senior, was a second-team pick on the offensive line and earned honorable mention at linebacker.
Eighth-grader Clayton Willis also earned a second-team selection at defensive back for the Bruins.
Kyle Keys was honorable mention at receiver for Clallam Bay and Sam Signor was honorable mention at defensive end.
Crescent’s Zach Fletcher was named to the second team as a wide receiver and also earned honorable mention at linebacker.
Freshman Neil Peppard earned honorable mention at quarterback for the Loggers, and KC Spencer was tabbed likewise at receiver
The Northwest Football League does not choose a most valuable player or coach of the year.
All-league volleyball
Neah Bay landed three players on the North Olympic League’s all-league volleyball team: Faye Chartraw, Savannah Goodrich and Holly Greene.
Chartraw also was picked as the league’s Best Blocker and the Red Devils’ coach, Rebekah Monette, was picked as Coach of the Year after leading Neah Bay to the 1B state tournament.
Crescent’s Shannon Williams and Lauren Hartley made the team, with Williams also picked as the league’s Best Hitter.
Clallam Bay’s Inga Erickson and Molly McCoy were named to the all-league team, with Erickson also being voted the league’s Best Setter.
