PORT ANGELES — Westport won back-to-back Olympic Junior Babe Ruth championships, beating Local 155 6-3 in the championship game.
Westport’s Lane Wilson hit a triple, scored a run and drove in two. His teammate Noah Johnstad drove in two.
Abe Brenkman pitched for Westport against Local 155’s Felix Gonzales. Brenkman went four innings, allowing two hits and three runs, then his catcher, Parker Pavlak finished, going the final three innings pitching to Brenkman. Gonzalez gave up five hits and four runs over three innings, walking two. Pavlak threw three innings, giving up two hits and striking out five while allowing zero runs.
For Local 155, Isaac Charles went 1-for-2 and had two RBIs. Landon Eastman, Asher Irvine, Brayden Scott and Isaac Charles all had hits.
