PREP PLAYOFFS: Port Angeles, Neah Bay to play in Tacoma

Forks girls, Neah Bay boys also in regionals

The President’s Day Tournament sponsored by Ruddell Auto held in Port Angeles on Saturday and Sunday featured fourth- through eighth-grade teams, some of which came from as far away as Mount Vernon and Blaine. A total of 30 teams played in the tournament held at Port Angeles High School and Roosevelt Elementary. Here, Sequim seventh-grader #10 Aayden Soiseth (10) drives to the basket guarded by Port Angeles’s sixth-grade team member Payton Strohauer (21). Sequim won the game 35-23.
