COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Peninsula women win fifth out their last six

VANCOUVER — The Peninsula women got 27 points and 10 rebounds from Anaya Rodisha and 17 points, 11 rebounds from Alicia Dugan in a 74-69 win over Clark College.

Rodisha shot 5-for-9 from 3-point range in the Dec. 30 game at Clark, while Dugan hit two 3-pointers of her own. Sephora Yayouss added nine points and five rebounds, while Jenise McKnight scored nine points and added four boards.

Yamilei Rodriguez also pulled down nine boards.

Peninsula (8-5) has won five out of its last six games after a slow start to its season. The Pirates begin Northwest Conference play against Shoreline on Jan. 11.
