Progressives plan organizing meeting

Event to focus on Bernie Sanders for president

GARDINER — Progressives in Clallam, Jefferson and Grays Harbor counties are invited to an organizing meeting at 1 p.m. Saturday in Gardiner.

The meeting at the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road, will be hosted by Olympic Peninsula Progressives of Clallam County, Jefferson County Progressives and Our Revolution— Coastal Washington, based in Grays Harbor County.

The meeting will be devoted to ways to get out the vote for Bernie Sanders, for U.S. President, according to a flyer.

The welcome and introduction will be provided by Chanda Masta, chair of Olympic Peninsula Progressives and Linda Sutton of Jefferson County Progressives.

Guest speakers will be Marianna Everson, a committeeperson for Legislative District 24, and David Griffiths, state committeeperson of Jefferson County.
