LETTER: Reasonable debate

Reasonable debate

It’s time for a reasonable debate on the issues that divide our country.

This should be held topic by topic on national TV represented by those of both conservative and liberal persuasions.

Let’s list some of them:

• National debt

• Control of immigration

• Religious freedom

• Planned parenthood

• Job creation

• Far East involvement

• Nuclear threat and national defense

• Education of children

• Gun control

• Electoral college

• Protection of our flag and national monuments

Of course there are many others.

Most of what we hear rambles on as the discussions fly from subject to subject with little resolution.

We can be content by continuing to throw bricks at each other.

Ask yourself if that leads anywhere we wish to go.
