Oct. 20; Book launch for “Salmon, Cedar, Rock Rain” in Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — Tim McNulty and Loni Greninger will read from McNulty’s new book. “Salmon, Cedar, Rock & Rain” at 7 p.m. Friday.

The book launch is in the Carver Room at the Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

The book explores complex history of wildlife and adventure, economic development and resource extraction, conservation and restoration in Olympic National Park.

The book also includes contributions from Fawn Sharpe, Quinault Indian Nation; Jamie Valadez, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe; Loni Greninger, Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe; Gary Morishina, Quinault Indian Nation; Maria Parker Pascua, Makah Tribe; Wendy Sampson, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe; Francine Swift, Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe; and David Guterson.
