Fourth of July festivities kick off early Thursday morning with breakfast in Forks and a flag-raising ceremony in Port Townsend.
In Port Angeles, festivities begin with a community celebration in Four Seasons and live music at City Pier.
Here’s a complete schedule of events for the day:
Forks
7 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Elks Breakfast, Forks Elks Lodge.
8 a.m.: Check-in starts for Grand Parade, Thrifty Mart Parking lot.
10:30 a.m.: Judging.
11 a.m.: Last entries for Grand Parade.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Arts, Crafts and Photo Show, Forks Middle School, sponsored by Far West Art League.
11:15 a.m.: Sign-in for Kiddies Parade at Bank of America.
11:45 a.m.: Kiddies Parade, Main Street, Sponsored by Forks Emblem Club.
Noon: Grand Parade, from Forks Thrifty Mart parking lot.
1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Lions Club Salmon Bake, Tillicum Park kitchen.
3 p.m. to dusk: Demolition Derby, Tillicum Park arena. Tickets cost $6. Gates open at 2 p.m.
6:30 p.m. to dusk: Music in Tillicum Park.
Dusk: Fireworks, Tillicum Park arena.
Port Angeles
11:30 a.m.: Third annual Four Seasons Ranch Parade entries gather at the parking area at the north end of Strait View Drive.
Noon: Four Seasons Parade along Strait View Drive.
2 p.m.; Four Seasons Ranch miniature boat races starting at the car bridge and ending at the foot bridge.
3 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Live bands on City Pier beginning with Wichita.
4 p.m.: Restless performs at City Pier.
5 p.m.: Port Angeles Community Parade begins on Valley Street.
5 p.m.: Olympic Jazz Band at City Pier.
6 p.m.: Naki’i at City Pier.
7 p.m.: Port Angeles Light Opera Association singers at City Pier.
7:30 p.m.: SequiMarimba at City Pier.
8:30 p.m.: Tongue & Groove at City Pier.
9:45 p.m.: Fireworks.
Sequim
10:50 a.m.: Flag raising at Marlyn Nelson Park. Sequim High School student Amber Blume will raise the flag and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
11 a.m.: Patriotic program at Carrie Blake Park featuring children’s activities, bands, dancers and cars displayed by the Sequim Valley Car Club.
2 p.m.: Drawing for a $500 cash prize. Tickets cost $5 each, only 500 tickets will be sold.
Port Townsend
9:45 a.m.: Flag raising ceremony.
10 a.m.: Eighth annual Deer Run, 5.5-mile race and 2 mile walk, Naval Magazine Indian Island.
11:30 a.m.: Port Townsend Yacht Club small craft regatta, Point Hudson.
2 p.m.: Fiddle Tunes concert, McCurdy Pavilion.
4 p.m.: Community parade with flags, banners, masks and historical games, Fort Worden parade ground and beach.
4 p.m.: Jefferson Day Community Picnic, Fort Worden parade ground and beach.
7 p.m.: Musical performances, Fort Worden parade ground stage.
9:45 p.m.: Fireworks show by Sunrise Rotary, Fort Worden bay.
