Workshop to help develop vision for Carlsborg future

CARLSBORG — A visioning workshop for Carlsborg will be held Monday at the Clallam County Public Utilities District Carlsborg Facility, 110 Idea Place.

The meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The purpose is for residents to develop and share their vision of a sustainable Carlsborg with other community members and government agencies, said Clallam County Senior Planner Carol Creasey.

Residents will:

• Visualize and discuss issues that are important to the community.

• Develop an integrated community vision that will be shared with local, state and federal officials.

The hands-on workshop is supported by a commercial artist and illustrator, Clallam County officials said.

After the workshop, the artist and illustrator will provide community composite renderings of the integrated visions.

The workshop is hosted by the Carlsborg Community Advisory Committee and sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency Region 10 Brownfields Office.

Space is limited to 25 people.

To reserve a spot, e-mail Creasey at ccreasey@co.callam.wa.us or phone her at 360-417-2423.
