The Winter Ice Village in downtown Port Angeles is open for another season of ice skating. Tiadosa Tom, age 9 in pink, and her cousin Annabella Mason, age 4, are glad the Ice Village finally opened on Friday. Dozen of skaters, mostly youth, came for the opening day. Winter Ice Village hours are weekends and days when children are not in school at 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., otherwise it is open noon to 9 p.m. The cost is $10 for those younger than 12, adults are $15, seniors older than 65 and the military are $10.
