Church services relating to Christmas on the North Olympic Peninsula:

PORT TOWNSEND

St. Paul’s events

PORT TOWNSEND — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1020 Jefferson St., will host several Christmas Eve and Christmas Day events.

On Wednesday at 5 p.m., come for the Family Service with “Las Posadas” procession and celebration. Wear warm clothing.

At 7:30 p.m., a Festive Eucharist takes place, and at 10 p.m., there’s the Carol Sing and Festive Eucharist

On Thursday at 10 a.m., the Holy Eucharist service starts.

On Sunday, Dec. 28, at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., Lessons & Carols with Holy Eucharist takes place.

Christmas Eve service

CHIMACUM — The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, located at 45 Redeemer Way, will hold Christmas Eve candlelight services at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

PORT LUDLOW

Christmas Eve service

PORT LUDLOW — The Port Ludlow Community Church, 9534 Oak Bay Road, will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

SEQUIM

Candlelighting set

SEQUIM — A Christmas Eve candlelighting service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Choirs will perform and carols will be sung. There will be a special story for children, who will receive a “treat bag.”

The congregation will light candles and sing “Silent Night” to conclude the service.

A Christmas Eve Mass will take place at St. Thomas the Apostle, 52 Pioneer St., Clallam Bay, at 5 p.m.

At St. Anne’s Church, 511 Fifth Ave., Forks, the Misa en Español (Mass in Spanish) starts at 7:30 p.m.; Christmas carols will begin at 10 p.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 p.m. Christmas Day Mass is at 9 a.m.

NOTE: Some churches do not have listings; several church representatives have said they are not hosting Christmas Eve or Christmas Day services, while others are holding regular services Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 27 and 28.
