The initial count of ballots in the all-mail results of the primary election in Clallam and Jefferson counties are posted online.
The results were posted at www. peninsuladailynews.com after the polls closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Washington state’s top-two primary election culls out any candidates other than the top two voter-getters for the November general election.
Races in which only two people field are not on the ballot, except for partisan races such as county commission.
In Clallam County were races for a seat on the Olympic Medical Center commission, two seats on the Port Angeles City Council, a seat on the Forks City Council and a seat on the Clallam County Fire District 2 board.
In Jefferson County was a race for Chimacum School Board and a proposition which would expand the East Jefferson Fire-Rescue board from three to five people to allow Port Townsend representation.
