Here are times, dates and locations for the scoping meetings, plus instructions for written comments:
* 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, Makah Tribal Council Community Hall, 81 Third Ave., Neah Bay.
* 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
* 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, South Lake Union Park, Naval Reserve Building, 860 Terry Ave. N, Seattle.
Persons needing reasonable accommodations to attend and participate in the meetings should call Kassandra Brown, 206-526-4348, at least 10 business days before the meeting(s). Also, information in alternative formats will be available upon request.
More details about the meetings will be posted at the gray whale link at www.nwr.noaa.gov by mid-September.
