FORKS — New administrator Camille Scott wants to broaden opportunities for the public health-care district that operates Forks Community Hospital, a nursing home, two clinics and a rehabilitation center.
Scott said her biggest strength is program development as well as team-building in the hospital and community.
Scott, 55, said she officially accepted the Forks position last week after resigning as administrator of Benewah Community Hospital in St. Maries, Idaho, southwest of Coeur d’Alene.
Scott had been administrator in St. Maries for more than five years. She worked for seven years in interim administrative positions in the health-care field as well as serving for 20 years as a vice president of patient care services in Kalispell, Mont.
Clallam County Health Care District No. 1 board member Karolyn Burdick of Clallam Bay said Scott was chosen for the position based on the strength of her experience at Benewah Community Hospital.
