A Disaster Recovery Center has been established in Forks and will be operated for a limited time next week.
The center will be located at Olympic Community Action Programs, 651 E. Division St., and will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 17 through Nov. 19.
Federal Emergency Management Agency and State and Small Business Administration personnel will staff the center.
Assistance is available for homeowners, renters or business owners affected by October’s storms and flooding but the deadline to register for any disaster losses is Jan. 6.
Citizens with flood damage can also call Federal Emergency Management Agency officials 1-800-621-3362 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
