AGNEW — The North Olympic Land Trust will host a bike event Saturday in honor of National Trails Day.
Bikers will meet at Robin Hill Farm County Park (Pinnell Road parking lot) at 9 a.m.
The bike ride is approximately 12.5 miles — half on the Olympic Discovery Trail and half on county roads.
Participants will visit six private properties that are preserved with conservation easements but not normally open to the public.
Participants will also have the option to take a 1-mile hike at the Siebert Creek Conservation Area.
This 38-acres conservation area, owned by the land trust, has been undergoing a multiyear restoration project.
The tour will end sometime between noon and 1 p.m., depending on how much time is spent at each property.
Hikers are encouraged to bring a snack or lunch.
RSVPs are appreciated but not necessary.
