SEQUIM — The Dungeness Kids Fair will be at the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula at 400 W. Fir St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is free.
The fair has activities for children, free books, food, car seat checks, secure IDs, sports physicals, immunizations, school supplies, resources and a silent auction.
A firetruck, ambulance and model trains also will be on display.
Presented by First Teacher and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, the Dungeness Kids Fair is a benefit for Clallam County children.
This year’s theme is “Off to a Great Start,” emphasizing children of all ages getting ready for school.
Parenting Matters
First Teacher is a program of the Parenting Matters Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping parents in their most important job as their child’s first teacher, according to the organization.
The Dungeness Kids Fair’s Champion Sponsors are the Sequim School District, Krush, Jamestown Family Health Clinic and KSQM 91.5 FM radio in Sequim; and Shaltry & Rudd Orthodontics and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Angeles.
Additional supporters are Alderwood Bistro, Hallett Advisors, Anytime Fitness and Hi-Way 101 Diner.
