PORT ANGELES — For the vaudeville performers of PA Cabaret, glitter bombs and bullet bras are a few favorite weapons of choice in the battle against domestic violence.
Which is why the troupe will present a night of its particular brand of comedy, dancing, music and performance art Saturday at the Metta Room, 132 E. Front St., all to benefit Healthy Families of Clallam County.
In a show titled “Battle Axe Burlesque,” the stars include Bunny Rarebits, Violet DeVille, Miss Mimi Lynn and Inside Defiance, with the festivities to begin at 9 p.m.
This is an event for the 21-and-older crowd with tickets ranging from $15 to $20 via www.brownpapertickets.com (search for “PA Cabaret”).
Proceeds will benefit the Healthy Families programs supporting women, men and children affected by domestic violence or sexual assault.
