The winter holidays are almost here, and the smell of wood smoke is wafting across the North Olympic Peninsula: It’s time for fall and winter bazaars and fairs.
Here is a list of fairs scheduled this weekend:
SEQUIM
Christmas Lane Fair
SEQUIM — More than 40 local crafters will offer their handiwork at the Christmas Lane Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The fair will be at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.
Chili, soup and pie will be available.
There also will be a baked goods table.
Proceeds will help finance the church’s local mission projects.

Holiday bazaar
SEQUIM — St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will hold its 59th annual holiday bazaar at Blondie’s Plate, a former Episcopal Church building that is now a restaurant, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
All items will be handmade at the bazaar at 134 S. Second Ave.
Christmas decorations, household goods, doll clothes, home decor and heirloom gifts are some of the unique items that will be for sale.
There also will be a plant and bake sale.
A drawing for raffle items will be held at 2:45 p.m. The winners need not be present.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The menu this year features chicken tetrazzini with a cranberry apple relish, green salad, glazed carrots, a dinner roll and butter, dessert and a beverage.
The cost of the meal is $8 per person. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is located at 525 N. Fifth Ave.

SEQUIM — Agnew Helpful Neighbors Club will have its Christmas bazaar at 1241 N. Barr Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Homemade soup, sandwiches and pies will be served.

PORT TOWNSEND
Christmas bazaar
PORT TOWNSEND — St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church will host its annual Christmas bazaar and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The bazaar will be at the church parish hall, 1407 30th St.
Holiday gifts for sale will include handmade jewelry and felted, knitted and crocheted items.
The bazaar includes a bake sale with homemade baklava and other treats to eat or freeze for the holidays.
Repeated this year will be a set of brand-new white-elephant gift items.
The Way of a Pilgrim bookstore will be open for sale of books, religious jewelry and icons.
CLALLAM BAY
Lions bazaar
CLALLAM BAY — The Clallam Bay Lions Club will host a community bazaar from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday.
The two-day bazaar will be at the club at 90 Bogachiel St.
The bazaar will offer Christmas items and crafts.
A soup or sandwich lunch will be available for purchase.
A raffle and door prizes are planned.

Christmas Bazaar
FORKS — The Forks Emblem Club No. 488 will host a Christmas bazaar at the Elks Lodge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The lodge is located at 941 Merchants Road. Admission is free.
Vendors with new and used items will be featured.
