SEQUIM — The city of Sequim will begin to replace a water main under Fourth Avenue on Monday.
Crews from Earthwork Solutions, Lakeside Industries, Rainbow Sweepers and Mikey’s Concrete Services will replace the water main, install a new fire hydrant, install improved curb ramps and repair pavement between Washington and Cedar streets.
Work generally will take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays with possible night work between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The project is expected to take five to six weeks to complete.
Drivers can expect delays, localized closures and detours during work hours, but resident access will be provided.
