Washington state Poet Laureate Claudia Castro-Luna will visit all four branches of the North Olympic Library System this weekend.
Castro-Luna will hold a poetry reading at 1 p.m. Friday at the Clallam Bay Library, 16990 state Highway 112 and then she will conduct a bilingual poetry workshop at 4 p.m. at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave.
On Saturday, she will conduct a workshop at 10:30 a.m. at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
She will finish with another reading at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
Castro-Luna, who was born in El Salvador, immigrated to the U.S. in 1981.
