Peninsula Daily News and Peninsula News Network will hold the first of three special TV “meet the press”‘ election forums Wednesday night.
The forum will cover the contested races for Sequim City Council and Sequim School Board.
All interested voters are invited to attend the forum to learn about the candidates — and watch the interplay between them and three journalists.
It will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sequim Community Center, 190 W. Cedar St.
The forum will be aired on Wave Broadband (formerly Northland) cable TV channel 3 in Port Angeles, Carlsborg and Sequim later this week and re-televised at various times until Nov. 4.
Here’s the schedule for Wednesday’s forum:
6 p.m.: Sequim City Council Position 2, Scott Moore and Patricia Kasovia-Schmitt.
6:30 p.m.: Sequim City Council Position 4, R.L. “Dick” Foster and Don Hall.

Voter guide on Sunday
Mail-in ballots go out Wednesday to registered voters for the Nov. 4 general election.
Elections in Clallam County are conducted only by mail.
The Clallam County Voter Guide will be included with the PDN on Sunday.
It will have information about all the contested general election races and local and statewide ballot measures.
It will profile all the candidates and have their 75-word answers to detailed questions that were addressed to them by the newspaper.
The Voter Guide will also be available free at the county courthouse in Port Angeles, libraries, Sequim and Port Angeles city halls and other public locations around the county, and at PDN offices in Port Angeles and Sequim (their addresses are in the information box on Page 2).
