VOLUNTEERS ARE BEING quickly recruited to help serve breakfast Wednesday morning to visiting canoe journey pullers before they launch to Jamestown.
The volunteers are asked to show up at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal Center, 2851 Lower Elwha Road, Port Angeles, by 5 a.m. to start meal preparation.
Breakfast will be served by 6:30 p.m. so the canoeists can make an early start for the pull to Jamestown.
Dinner for the canoeists will be served at the tribal center around 5 p.m. tonight, and volunteers will be needed as well.
