The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe is still seeking volunteers for the 2005 canoe journey it will host Monday through Aug. 6.
Especially sought are massage therapists to staff a healing tent.
Also needed are volunteers with shovels, rakes and — if possible — bulldozers and graders to level the parking lot next to the tribal clinic at 243511 U.S. Highway 101 west of Port Angeles. Workers will gather there at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The tribe also seeks maintenance and food cleanup workers to join the 500-some volunteers who already have helped prepare for the Paddle to Elwha.
