PORT ANGELES CITY officials released this short video of the demise of the 1969 Lauridsen Boulevard bridge, officially severing a major east-west route and important connection with Peninsula College.
The new and wider bridge, which will better accommodate trucks turning onto and from nearby Race Street, is expected to be finished early next year.
