PORT TOWNSEND — An energetic duo playing “hillbilly stomp blues with slide guitar and a drumset made of buckets, cans and a barbecue lid” will take to the stage at tonight’s Concert on the Dock.
Hillstomp, consisting of Henry Kammerer on vocals and slide guitar and John Johnson on vocals and the unusual percussive instruÂments, will perform in the free concert starting at 6 p.m. in the Quincy Street Dock area off Water Street.
Hillstomp, which can be previewed at www.hillstomp.com, hails from Portland, Ore.
The stage is adjacent to the Water Street Brewing at the end of Quincy Street.
All ages are welcome to the two-hour free concert.
