United Way Port Angeles Business Blitz, Restaurant Day on Wednesday

CLALLAM COUNTY — On Wednesday staff and volunteers from United Way funded agencies will be hitting the streets of Port Angeles for the United Way of Clallam County’s annual Small Business Blitz and Restaurant Day.

Retail businesses that do not fit into any specific United Way category are contacted during this one-day blitz.

Approximately 15 two person teams recruited from United Way funded agencies’ staff and volunteers will make in-person calls on nearly 100 businesses in the Port Angeles area.

In addition, 20 local restaurants have agreed to give part of their income from that day to United Way.

This year marks the 13th year that local restaurants have participated in this way.
