Two transported to hospital after single-car crash

FORKS — Two people were injured and four transported to Forks Community Hospital after a car left the roadway and struck an embankment, the State Patrol said.

Judith L. Greene-Diaz, 47, of Forks was traveling southbound on state Highway 113 about 3:06 p.m. Monday when the 2014 Dodge Journey she was driving left the roadway to the right, struck the embankment and came to rest on the right shoulder, the State Patrol said.

Greene-Diaz and Lucetta G. Greene-Gomez, 28, of Forks were injured and transported to the hospital, the State Patrol said.

Jesus D. Diaz-Greene, 29, of Forks and an 11-month-old girl also were passengers. They were not injured but taken to the hospital, the State Patrol said.

Greene-Diaz was cited for driving too fast for conditions, according to the State Patrol.

All four people were wearing seat belts, and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved, the State Patrol said.

The vehicle sustained reportable damage and was towed from the scene.
