SEQUIM — Jim Karr will continue “The Ascent of Birds” lecture series at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The free lecture, sponsored by the Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society will stream on Zoom meetings.
The series, based on the book “The Ascent of Birds: How Modern Science Is Revealing Their Story ” by John Reilly, repeats on the second Tuesday of each month.
This month’s lecture and discussion will cover the chapters: “The Owl’s Story: Nightlife” and “The Oilbird’s Story: Evolutionary Distinctiveness.”
