Styrofoam recycling postponed

PORT TOWNSEND — Due to the forecast for snow, the Styrofoam recycling event set for this Saturday at Port Townsend’s Safeway has been postponed to Feb. 20.

The Port Townsend StyroCyclers group encourages the public to bring clean, dry Styrofoam to the Safeway store, 442 W. Sims Way, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 20.

All colors except tan will be accepted, but no packing peanuts can be recycled. Styrofoam with labels and tape on it is also welcome.

For information, email PTStyro [email protected].
