Trees and tree limbs were knocked down as a storm packing wind and rain swept down from the Gulf of Alaska.
The winds eased off Tuesday afternoon, but more rain is likely again today.
The storm also brought snow and the first winter traveler’s warning of the season for the Olympics.
* Sustained 20-30 mph winds and gusts up to 45 mph were recorded across Jefferson and Clallam counties on Tuesday.
* Public Utility District repair crews in Clallam were kept busy because of power outages.
* Puget Sound Energy reported one outage affecting about 25 customers on Fagler Road in the Fort Fagler area of Jefferson County.
* Roads and highways in both counties stayed open, and there were no interruptions on the Hood Canal Bridge.
* The Port Townsend-Keystone ferry run was halted due to high winds and heavy seas.
* The Coho ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria continued operating.
