BREMERTON — The Port Angeles boys basketball team jumped right back into the thick of the Olympic League race with a 68-65 road victory over Bremerton on Tuesday night.
“I was really proud of the way we played,” coach Wes Armstrong said.
“We played very unselfishly and shot the ball well tonight. We played together as a team.”
The win ties Port Angeles with Sequim for second place at 8-3 after the Wolves fell to Klahowya on Tuesday.
“Sequim is still ahead of us because they beat us,” Armstrong said.
The Riders are 12-3 overall while the Knights fell to 6-4 in league and 7-7 overall.
