PORT TOWNSEND — It was bad enough that the Port Townsend girls basketball team was rusty after a week off because of the snow and ice.
But on the Redskins first game back they had to take on the deeper and bigger North Kitsap Vikings in Olympic League action Monday night in a makeup game.
The fourth-place Vikings (7-4, 8-5) beat the seventh-place Redskins (3-8, 7-8) 62-40.
