A pickup truck pulling a travel trailer flipped Sunday about five miles west of the Hood Canal Bridge, trapping the driver and tying up traffic on state Highway 104.
The State Patrol said the 1985 GMC pickup driven by Shane Clifton Stull, 38, of Tacoma went off the road shortly after 2 p.m.
The truck and 1991 travel trailer it was pulling jackknifed, causing the truck to roll over onto the driver’s side.
Emergency responders had to cut the roof of the truck to remove Stull, who was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with head injuries, the patrol reported.
A passenger in the truck, Lisbeth Ann Stull, 40, of Tacoma was taken to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton with bruises and abrasions, troopers said.
