Work to repair a guardrail across the Hood Canal Bridge is closing one lane of the bridge. The guardrail was damaged December 25 by a traffic accident.
During the maintenance, there will be single-lane alternating traffic on State Route 104 across the bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
No work will be done over the weekend of Jan. 17 and 18.
The repairs should be completed by Jan. 20, state Department of Transportation officials said.
