SEQUIM — Sequim Public Works will observe Arbor Day at noon Friday.
The city will plant six clumping birch trees in Pioneer Park, 387 E. Washington St..
The celebration recognizes Sequim’s designation as a “Tree City USA” by the Arbor Day Foundation and is held in the fall for the best planting conditions.
Attendees are asked to wear a mask and maintain physical distance to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
