SEQUIM — Three applicants to be Sequim High School’s next principal may have eliminated themselves from consideration because they didn’t respond to all questions on the application form.
“Would you want a principal who couldn’t follow instructions?” schools Superintendent Mike Joyner said, indicating there would probably be only 12 applications for the screening committee when it begins cutting the field to five.
Three applicants out of 15 total, according to Joyner, failed to respond to a request for them to explain what their perfect high school might include.
The school district is in the process of hiring principals at the high school and at Greywolf Elementary School.
