SEQUIM — Federal prosecutors have taken over the case against a local teacher accused of persuading female high school students to pose for nude photographs.
Local charges have been dismissed, but Clallam County prosecutors on Thursday said they”ve retained the right to reinstate the charges if necessary.
Dennis Peterson, 49, of Sequim faces three federal counts of producing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
