Sequim Rotary aids Boys and Girls Club

SEQUIM — The Rotary Club of Sequim recently presented $3,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of the Olympic Peninsula.

The the funds will be used for youth programs at the club’s Carroll C. Kendall unit in Sequim.

The club is also involved in mapping the location of publicly accessible automated external defibrillators in downtown Sequim.

So far, the club has added the location of 22 AEDs to the Pulsepoint app, a free app that can be downloaded to any smartphone.

The club meets at 11:45 a.m. Thursdays at the Big Elk Restaurant, 707 E. Washington St.
