Sequim quilter to exhibit in South Carolina

SEQUIM — The American Quilter’s Society has announced that Sequim quilter Marla Varner’s quilt “At the Junction” will be exhibited at QuiltWeek — Charleston from Sept. 25-27 in Charleston, S.C.

According to a press release, the show exhibits only 450 quilts selected from 43 states and 12 countries.

The quilts on display are in competition for $54,000 in prizes.
