SEQUIM — Two Sequim police officers used Tasers earlier this week to subdue a man described as a domestic violence suspect who attempted to run from police.
Officers arrested Kodi Roy Tosland, 25, of Sequim about noon Tuesday at his home in the 700 block of West Washington Street.
No charges had been filed as of Thursday.
A Sequim officer first visited the home early Tuesday morning when a woman reported an assault at the location.
She identified Tosland, who had left the house on foot. A police search failed to locate him.
Three police officers returned to the house later in the day and found Tosland there, according to a police statement.
Reports said that Tosland tried to flee when officers told him he was under arrest.
Two officers used their Tasers — electric devices that can immobilize a person by causing involuntary muscle contractions — and one connected long enough to stop Tosland.
