SEQUIM — A Pinnell Road couple thinks Olympic Discovery Trail is a good addition to the community and they don’t mind that it crosses their property near Robin Hill Park.
But, they are demanding fair treatment that doesn’t leave them feeling like they’ve been bullied by county officials.
Joan Miller who, with her husband, Winfield, owns 33 acres on both sides of Pinnell Road claimed Wednesday county Senior Planner Rich James was adamant when he told her, “I’m coming through there.”
But James denied Mrs. Miller’s accusation, adding she is confused about results from surveys.
He said he hopes for a resolution after a meeting this week between the county, Mrs. Miller and her attorney. Because of poor health, Winfield Miller isn’t involved in the discussions.
