Clallam County election officials say 40.56 percent of ballots have been returned in Sequim School District’s maintenance and operations replacement levy election.
About 25.56 percent of all ballots are in for the Crescent School District levy.
Ballots in the all-mail elections must be postmarked or dropped off in special drop boxes by May 18.
Sequim officials are seeking voter approval of a two-year, $5.16 million replacement levy after a levy request failed in February.
Crescent officials are asking voters to support a four-year, $1.31 million levy for the fourth time in about a year.
State law requires 60 percent voter support for passage of maintenance and operations levies.
