Representatives from Portland, Ore.-based Fred Meyer will team up with Sequim land owner Mark Burrowes to host an open house from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Pioneer Park clubhouse, 387 E. Washington St.
Fred Meyer officials have expressed interest in building a 160,000-square-foot department store on land owned by Burrowes near the South Sequim Avenue and U.S. Highway 101 interchange in Sequim, and are open to input and questions from area residents regarding the proposed project.
